MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The defending ACCC Champions will begin their quest for a repeat on Wednesday at 2 PM. The Govs will be the #3 seed and will face the #6 seed Reid State in the opening round at Montgomery's Paterson Field.
Wallace will enter the tournament on a five-game win streak, their longest of the season, following a four-game sweep of Wallace-Selma and winning the final game in the Enterprise State series. Reid State finished in a tie for sixth with the Boll Weevils but won the tie-breaker to get the final slot in the bracket.
In the regular season series between Wallace and Reid State, the Govs won the first three games before falling 2-1 to the Lions in the series finale.
